New T5's with Coral Plus

My shipment of new T5's just got in and I bought the new coral plus to play around with. I'm really happy with it so far.

Below is my old combo: 3x Blue Plus and 1 Purple Plus

And below here is the new combo: 2x Blue Plus, 1 Purple Plus, and 1 Coral Plus

These pictures were taken a few weeks apart, but with the same white balance settings on my DSLR. The newest picture is a little cloudier, I had just scraped the glass. And if you look carefully there's a few moved corals.

The color is definitely a little more crisp with a hint of red. I can really notice the difference on my elegance and my torch with the purple tips showing better.

Thanks for posting the pics, the coral plus looks nice.

I've been thinking about getting a Coral Plus to replace the Aquablue special in my setup. I've got 4 Blue Plus, 1 purple plus and an aquablue special right now, and i need new bulbs badly.

I like it a lot. My tank is whiter than it was with 3 blue plus. I was worried there would be too much red with the purple plus and coral plus and only 2 blue plus to balance it out. But it looks really nice, my purple corals really stand out now

I have a 6 bulb TEK fixture. I had 4 blue + , 1 aqua blue special, and 1 purple plus. I switched out the aqua blue special with a coral plus and I absolutely love the change. Much happier with the color, I felt the aqua blue special just made it a little too white for my liking.
