I urgently needed another brand new Oceanic 175G bowfront tank with 32" black oak stand to replace the old tank and stand during the setup of other new tanks in my office. Very few stores knew Oceanic sells the oak stand and canopy as a set, and most distributors do not carry them as a regular item because they are quite expensive.
I made couple inquiries with local stores, and Les of Fishy Inc. was the first one getting back to me with information I felt comfortable. I placed order with Les by 4pm, last Tuesday, the tank and stand arrived my office by 3pm Friday. It’s great to have some good local stores.
I heard business is slow for most of the stores in the summer, I am glad to see couple sizable SPS in Les’s store last week.
Hope I can have all the tanks setup before our next LIRA meeting. I thought I have been in this hobby for a long time, and I have just setup a similar system in my house 6 months ago to replace my 15 year old tank, but there are still so many unexpected things happened and will happen because two systems are not identical. Thanks to the advices from the members from RC and LIRA.
