New Tank Cycle Proces

Hello.

I was wondering if there is an article or thread that explains the new tank cycle process..ie; how long for a cycle to complete..what happens first..last..for example...ammonia up and down and then what happens next,etc...I am basically looking for an explanation of how long it typically takes to cycle a tank and what to test for and when...
