New tank Goin up thought I'd share some pics of the old one =)

New 100g is Goin up this weekend and I'd thought I'd share some random pics of old Bessie.. She's almost 12 I believe and got a make over about a year and a half ago from wall to wall dragon eye, xenia, hammer and most any other cheap coral you could think of =).. It's Def no tank of the month but it's been my little slice of the ocean for a long time . sumpless 45 g 3 mp10esw's,octopus bh90,aquaclear 70 aquatraders lightw/retrofitted ballasts running Ati B+ and a phoenix 14k 250W.

I'll miss it...... JK the new tank has so much more potential =)..

I'll be slowly moving over to it and I will start a build thread on it I'm trying to get rid of the briopsis plague in the 45, if not none of my rock will go into the new tank until it's gone . Although I don't want to do that i have about 250lbs of cured LR in a brute in the garage running for the last few months..

This is my favorite pic though not a reef but a reefer in the making and my little helper when it comes to my tank

Great looking tank.... Can't wait to see pics of the new one.... Your little helper reminds me of the youngest reefer I know, my 5 year old niece has her very own tank

Thanks... I have better pics on my computer just wanted to share for some reason.. I'll post them later.. Can't wait to start the new tank.. Gonna take it slow as I'm in the boat that this tank is so easy and basic that it works well, and with my luck all this automated expensive equipment and change I'll prob have issues lol.. Hoping I can rid my rocks of the briopsis so I can bring it in to soften the change over..

I so wanted to make my daughter's tank a Pico reef but the wife put the brakes on that one lol.. It's already got aragonite one day it will just have a" FW" pistol/yasha combo in there ha ha.. And some fake corals that look surprisingly like the zoas in my tank =).. Better to ask for forgiveness than permission right..

It's an easy to run tank I may just throw it in the garage for the breeding pair of goldflake maroon clowns I just got.. There currently in my refugium w/a rose nem. I have a few options to have them in a separate tank hooked to the frag sump but may just move this one to the garage throw a single kessil on it and the clowns can have it along with all my anemones..

I'll prob just use a my original plan though as I have two 2' 29g truvue tanks that I'm going to run next to each other and use my 48" t5 to light them both. I'll try to get some pics of them just to show the club they are pretty nice.. Not a typical maroon you see very often and aren't cheap just hope I can raise some of the fry.. But that's a whole other thread lol..

I'll post some more pics when I find some good ones. I have some decent fts shots from the beginning till now.. The tech m is putting a stress on my reef right now I've been at a little over 1800 for about 2 weeks and it has made a difference I just don't realistically feel it's gonna work.. I also don't like not running carbon for this long..
