New tank question

I'm setting up a 5.5g tank in the next few days to cycle with a built in fuge, and I'm curious as to when to add cheato to it. Can the cheato be added in at any point in the cycle? I'm going to try and get cured live rock from a local reefer, and use 3-4 gallons of water from my other tank, so it may not even get a large cycle, so I don't think it would matter, but any input?

Cheato can be added whenever it will just eat the nutrients of the cycle and grow bigger ;D

Shouldn't be a problem--just keep a close eye on those small systems, with so little water things can happen fast--good or bad
