new tank stock list

i posted this in the reef fish forum but didnt get any repsonses..hoping to get a little more traffic here.....

so i plan to get a new tank in the future and wan to run a few things by everyone while im still in a planning stage. I'm gonna base my tank size on the stock list i want to have and start there.

So far i currently have the following and will be transferring to the new tank:

regal angel
blue face angel
coral beauty angel (possibly)
radiant wrasse
ornate leopard wrasse
flame hawk
yellow tang

i would like to add either a goldlake angel or a majestic angel as well as a potters leopard wrasse ( had one of these before but carpet surfed on me when i wasnt hom)

im thinking about a 180 gal. tank, will these be large enough for this fish list? I wont be able to go any longer than 6 ft. for the new tank BTW. THanks for any input.

I would definately NOT add a majestic in with the blue face, they are both Pomacanthus angels and it would likely lead to serious aggression issues. Generally you don't want to add two angels of the same genus in a home sized aquarium, you also want to avoid similarly colored/shaped angels in the same system.

As for the tank size I personally think that a 180 would be a good choice, I don't necessarily know if I would add a third large angelfish to your livestock list but it might be alright.

That many angels would need a much bigger tank. I'd say minimum 8ft 240g but bigger would be best. If you don't want to go bigger then a 180g, I'd go with two out of the three angels (majestic, regal, goldflake), and you could do two dwarfs as well. A blueface will outgrow a 180g. I think those 4 angels would be a bit much in a 180g but if you had ample hiding spots, filtration and introductions you could make it work, I'd still look to upgrade in the future.
