check it out, instead of posting some pics i figured a video would work.

made the video to show off the great flow generated by the two MJ 1200 streams that i recently made.

tank was setup mid feb of 06', i switched from my 90 which was les than a year old and everything started out as small frags.

Looks like you have some good polyp extensions on those corals. Everything seems to be happy..

Nice to see a vid instead of pictures for a change..

the MJ 1200 are running single 1.75 dumas props, the single prop version produces the most flow that you can get out of the 1200, the duals slow the pump down a little making them not push as much water.

yes polyp extension is very good as is growth. i have one coral that will grow about a 1/2" a week. i cant believe it until i lok at before and after pics.

but like the saying goes, flow is MORE important than anything else.

yeah i too am a little tired of posting pics since they never come out just right and its hard to capture any kind of motion in a pic, tioo bad a good video takes up so much MB.

absolutely not, the cl is plumbed to i can turn off the penducto and turn on the rock rack loop. there are four ball valves that controllthe closed loop so i can adjust each side on its own. the rock rack plumbing blows all the detritus out from under the rocks, best thing ever here since when off it is a calm spot for the tangs to sleep and hide when they feel the need. i only turn on the rock rack part of the closed loop just prior to doing a water change. it worked better than i had planned. i have pics of the backside of the tank plumbing if anyone is interested
