So first off, you want to get all the current fish out of there. The hippo tang will get a foot long, and your tank is too small. Same for the puffer. The mono would do fine, but there are definitely better fish out there.
Get a sump. HOB equipment and heaters in the tank look ugly. Get an overflow box (http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/deluxe-cpr-continuous-siphon-overflows.html). Also, what filtration are you running?

First thing I would do is take the fish out, like jraker said they get too big.
Next, I'd consider an alternative to the canister filter you have attached. Without a very tight maintenance regime it will pollute your water fast. You could do a sump, or even just increase the rock inside the tank for a biological filter with a skimmer.
Regardless, try to attach the heaters to the glass with a suction cup, that'll look better
& you might not need both, directing flow at one will greatly increase how much water it will heat.

Don't get discouraged. There are a lot of helpful people here.
IMO, porcupines shouldn't be sold in stores. They get enormous. And they eat things that they shouldn't, like clean up crews, corals, and power cords.
With your fw experience, you know all about monos I'm sure.
The tang isn't ideal long-term, as others have said. I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to keep it for a couple years. If/when you want to get rid of it, those red sea (yellow belly) regals are worth a pretty penny. You won't have trouble selling it privately or to LFS.
