Okay I'm thinking about uping to a 75 or 100 gallon tank. What size sump/refugium should I get for this size?

Also what it the GPH rate on this size tank with overflows?

I think it is roughly 650g for each one inch drain, maybe a little less. So if you get a 125 with two drains it would be about 1300g. If you have the room I suggest getting a 125. Plus it is not that much more expensive to buy. You will have alot more room for coral and its only about 18 inches deep so you could use 250 halides or some T5's to light it. As far as a sump/refugium is concerned I would put one in that is as large as I could fit under the stand. In this case, I think a 55g might fit but I am not sure.

Hey also if your going to get a tank i wouldn't waste you time buying overflows just drill it your self. The bit is about 8$ shipped and the bulk heads are 4-5$ shipped both on ebay. So this will save you enought money to be the difference in price between a 75 to a 125 lol overflows are $$$$$$

Wayne & I drilled mine as well with a cordless drill & an ebay bit. 2 1.5" bulkheads & like 10 or 20 mins of work. We didnt build a dam or anything around the hole, I had a 5 gallon bucket full of water, & just kept a steady stream of fresh cold water on the bit, & hole.

DEFINITELY do it outside, & I would recommend gloves. The glass powder is not going to lay you open or anything, but it is VERY irritating to the skin. I would definitely also recommend taping the inside of the tank to prevent any excess chipping.... I had some minor chipping, but I smoothed it out with emery cloth.
