new tank

i got a 3 foot long 55 gallon and am in the middle of seting it up as a reef tank
here is what i got for the set uptell me what you think

-it is drilled with overflow so i am going with
-30 g sump
-seaclone150 skimmer
-quiet one 3000 780gph (return pump)
-bioballs

-lighting
-one 175watt metal halide (or should i do two)(and which
bulbs do you guys and gals recomend)
-two T5HO actinic lights

Bioballs is not good idea if you are setting up a reef tank. Just use liverock for your filtration.
As for your lighting, I would suggest adding one more halide so your tank will be covered nicely. You could get phoenix 14k bulbs without using actinic supplementation.

thanks for the help i got it all setup and with nothing in it but sand waiting on it to setal but i am going to do two lights
 
Sounds like your having fun. Maybe you should have posted this in the "New to Hobby" forum. You probably would get more help.
