SO I just got a call today that my new custom 183 cube tank will be ready to pick up on friday. I am so excited to get this thing set up i can't stand it! The stand and canopy are being painted tomorrow and everything should be up and running by next week. Thus far my equiptment list includes:
-Euro-reef protein skimmer RS250
-Korallin C-1502 calcium reactor
-Blue Wave dual ballast for 400w 20k radium lighting
-Lumenmax Reflector
-DIY sump/fuge
-2-dart pumps 1 for closed loop and the other for return

Am I missing anything? I would hate to have over looked something basic.
I will post pics before and after I set it all up.
Thanks
Gina

Ok so I got the Tank yesterday. What a pain to get it out of the truck. It took 5 of us just to get through the door and place it down onto some towels. It must weight 600lbs. So one little problem I noticed with it is I had ordered 1/2"glass all around and 3/4" on the bottom and the whole thing is 3/4". Not that I care if it can hold an elephant or not but its much heavier then I was expecting for sure. The stand and Canopy will be finished by tuesday. The paint being used takes like 4 days to completely dry. Pics to come.

pic!! nice sized tank btw :) I am thinking about the same size for the next tank love them cubes!! about the thickness the thicker the better! but it must of cost quiet a bit more?

Actually the guy who built it said the glass company delivered 3/4 instead of 1/2 and he didn't charge me any more then I was quoted. Im gonna post some pics tonight when I get home.

Ok so here are some pic of the tank and stuff. Let me know what you think:)
Lr is in what will be the fuge/sump. Its got the new RS 250 in there

Ok so the stand is primed and ready for the paint that takes a few days to dry. The anticipation is killing me!
Anyway here are some pictures of it primed.

Rather than setting the canopy on top of the tank, you mount it a little above. I believe you either use some stronger wire, or brackets that come from the back. Im not quite sure, I havent got that far in my tank =) I have seen them though, and they look a wesome with keeping the look of the rimless.

SO all of my plumbing supplies came yesterday as well as my new Lumen Max reflector from sunlight supply. The stand is being delivered tomorrow. The paint and hardware looks so sweet! I will be assembling everything this weekend. Hopefully my fish will be swimming in their new home before mid next week. Sorry the pic isn't bigger I took it with my iPhone

Can you PM me the info for the lady? Also what was turn around time? After I get this new build done I want to set up a cube for clown fish. Preferably Amphiprion Latazonatus :) ''Cold water austrialian clowns''. Also any idea as to your stock list in the new set up? Its very nice. They did a great job! Looking forward to more on this build. '' I am a professional idea stealer'' I steal most of my idea's from the large reef tank forums " :)

Well the stock list is going to be most of my current fish: 1 Blue hippo tang, 1 Tomato clown, 1 2-Barred rabbit fish, 1 Blonde naso Which will eventually need a new home its only the size of a silver dollar right now. 2 lyretail anthias, and 1 Bi-color blenny.
New additions will be 1 more Lyretail anthias, and an achilles tang. The rock is going to be very open for swimming and I will be doing mainly SPS and clams. The remaining fish I currently have will be staying in the 65 and relocated into the office and become a zoa and clam tank.
I am not sure who built the tank my friend kind of orchestrated the whole thing but I can pm you her #. It took 5 weeks from order to delivery. She is located in Miami I do know that much.
I got the stand today and I will have everything in place tonight so I will post some new pics later on today.

Ok so here are some pics. I am placing the tank on the stand today. So once its up I'll take more pics and post them. In the mean time here are all the pics so far.
