New to reefing, located in council bluffs

Hi, i am new to the reefing hobby and am looking for a local club and/or events near me so i can learn more about this hobby first hand, im located in council bluffs iowa , thanks.

You're always welcome to participate in our club if you so choose, but there is a club that's closer to you. There's a reef club for the Linclon / Omaha area called Linoma Reefs. Their site is at http://www.linomareefs.com.

Our club has four main regional areas, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids / Iowa City, Quad Cities and Waterloo / Cedar Falls. Each regional area has trustees, regional events and their own forum on www.iowareefs.com or www.greateriowareefsociety.org

i might join the iowa clubs as the omaha area club only has 50 members, kind of small considering the omaha metro and lincoln metro area and in between's population is like 2.5 million, how many members are in the iowa reef?

We have around 200 people that are paying members. There are around 600 registered users on the site.
