New to reefing

Hey guys I’m pretty new to the hobby and I had a question about tank maintenance, specifically maintenance for my sand bed. I have a bunch of “pellet” looking things on my sand bed and my immediate assumption is that it’s fish poop. lol can anybody confirm? And is using a siphon/vac the best way to clean it? Thanks!

Thank has 1 six line, 2 clowns, 1 sapphire damsel, 1 pajama cardinal, 1 gsp softie, and 2 trochus snails.

Can you get a pic without the blue lights? Or more white? Reach down and grab a couple. Does it crumble in your fingers?

How long has the tank been setup? What filtration are you using?

Could it be left over food pellets?

Maybe snail poop? Those trochus snails seem to generate a lot! I usually just try to vacuum a much out as I can each change.
