hey everyone, I'm new to saltwater tanks and with the help of sandman hopefully it will be succesful. Here are some pics of my tank that i set up on friday night. 20G long with 24 pounds of LV, LS,3 30" T-5 lights.

I'm not done with the rock work but any constructive criticism is always welcomed.

ive always beek a fan of putting all my rock in the middle of the tank. i run a aqua clear 110 as converted into a refuge on my 20L..works well. how did you place those t5s over the tank? is it a fixture or what?

yeah, they are fixtures. They came with the cheap metal hangers so im going to make something for better support

Looks like a good start, but you will have moved those rocks a hundred times before you are happy.

Just go with lots of caves and open flow, and of course what looks good to you,

a little update.. added some Zoanthids, Green star and a large rock of green mushrooms I bought from Aquarium Architecture. I also have Frogspawn and Hammer to add that i bought from Greg and some Hyndopora.

sorry for not posting sooner. Yeah i was with james at the marine dreams meeting (didnt have a tank at that time). James convinced me to buy a 70w MH. so i will update the pics once that is all set up.

well i went up to AA in Sarasota yesterday and came back with some goodies.

love the green birds nest! We have a very small frag of that and so far it is doing really well.
