New to the hobby

Hey all,

I'm new to the hobby. I've just got started and loving it. I had a quick question. Like I said, I am new and and I'm enjoying learning as much as I can, but being a rookie I don't know a lot yet. I wanted to join MTRC and learn more. Would it be ok to join the group now even though I'm still a rookie at this?

Thanks all

:strooper:

You are certainly welcome to join. At our meetings we have been discussing various things about the hobby that can really help out newbies and old salts alike :) I think you'll find the members of the club to be more than willing to lend a hand and help you learn.

What kind of tank do you have setup? Any plans to keep corals?

Thanks for the reply. I have a 75 gallon salt water. I currently have about 70 lbs of live rock in my tank. I also have green star polyps, a big piece of bubble coral, and a leather coral. Im shopping around right now to see where I can find some good deals. Right now I get most of them from The Critter. Lol...I love that place. I'll be joing MTRC for sure.

Thanks guys and girls :bum:

PLEASE join! I am sometimes confused in a vast sea of experts here. (...but they're always willing to talk to me at my level.)
:D

[welcome]

I joined a bit over a year ago and have definitely learned a ton... still plenty of work to do, but the club keeps me constantly interested.

We have a meeting on April 28th...you should come out for it. As that gets closer there will be more info posted on the boards, so just keep an eye out.
