new to the reef

hello, just set up my 50 g tank. looking for some advice on some easy to keep corals and reef safe fish. also how long should i wait to add some snails and hermit crabs and so on? thanks for any advice!

did u but live or dry rock?
lighting?
prem? (alk,po4,salt,mag,nirtates,) u get the picture
how long have u been set up

its only been going a couple days, i added bio spira, but will probly still cycle for a while. i have live rock and dry base in it. i have compact florescent lighting blue actinic and 100000k daylight. thanks for the response!

welcome to the club, for coral suggestions more info is really required. What are you using for water? tap water DI etc, how many watts of PC lighting? type of filtration/skimmer?

I am having a reef meet at my place august 21 you are welcome to come as all are. (see the thread for the meet for the address) This might be a good chance to meet a lot of the reefers in the area, ask questions, pick up a few beginner corals, see a couple of larger systems, and see what you are getting into.
