New to Zoas!

Well I'm new to Reef Central and zoas. I'm small and simple, running about 29 gallons, Ramora skimmer, Mighty Max HOB wet/dry, Current Orbit LEDS. I am upgrading to 40 gallons withing a week, everything else will stay the same. This aquarium has been running for 6 months. 2 months ago I picked up some Dragons Eye. They are doing great! My kids love to see them under the actinic when they glow. I am recently permently disabled after 22 years of working with disabled children and it's my aquarium that helps occupy my mind. So I am setting my mind on creating a beautiful aquarium for these amazing creatures. I will keep my diamond goby and clown : )

Nice little frag :) I don't see any coralline algae on your rock, and you mentioned you are upgrading soon. I'd be careful about adding too many corals too fast. Make sure your tank is cycled and you are able to grow coralline before you add a bunch of zoas. Those zoas you have look healthy and are a hardy type, but some are really sensitive and expensive, so just take it slow and don't buy too many too fast. And most of all have fun!

Thanks Will. I have some purple rock in the tank and started with these radioactive dragons eyes. I just started 2 part dosing and recognize that I have a ton to learn. I will not be adding corals or fish fast. And your point is well taken. I spoke to my lfs and he has some coralline flakes he sells, so along with dosing I was going to crush some up and add in. Any recommendation on a next zoa? I am looking at blue orgasm and something else with color.
