New trends?

Anything that says Hornets, Japanese Deepwater, Utter Chaos Palys, Purple People Eaters are always in style. Or anything hard to acclimate or transport like Rastas.

Remember that "sought after" only has to do with price and people having crisp colored up blue pics, and usually doesn't have much to do with how dime a dozen common the flavor of the month polyps happen to be... Can't tell you how many "rare" polyps you'll run into in the throwaway bin at a lot of lfs :)

weird question?? Why do you ask? I buy what looks good, healthy and colors that appeal to me. JMHO

If you looking for something that is going to accumulate or at least retain value then look at the tough Zoas. The ones that people are always complaining about that they spent alot of money on and lost. That is what I consider rare. Trick is you yourself have to be able to grow them.

Captain America Paly, Cool Looking. Bad investment. They are hardy, fast growing, and going to be dirt cheap by next spring. The next Purple Death Paly.

But if you don't like it, then why does it matter. I still <3 Dragon Eyes.

The Hornets just dont do it for me. There are too many other zoas that come close to the Hornets. Those Sopranos look pretty darn nice. Probably a fussy specimen I assume.

Off subject, but while I am posting. Everyone selling frags these days seems to be trying to retire on thier "rare" pieces. Seems you can do better purchasing direct from the sponsors

There are too many cool ones out there to chase. I really like rainbow colored ones. I want to get some CARs. Magicians are always cool. I don't see them that often and they seem to keep their price (about $20/polyp). I also love to look of nicely colored Sunny Delights.
