New unusual macros in my tank!

Very happy to welcome these additions to my macro tank!

Saw this one as a tiny leaf in an LFS, attached to a ridiculously overpriced rock of ugly zoas, so of course I bought it :) The orange is a welcome color, so hard to find! The zoas colored up to a nice purple too:

This one isn't a new addition, I found it as a few tiny fronds on a frag at an LFS. I thought I lost it awhile back, but found a tiny piece surviving. I've been careful to bring it back, it died from lack of nutrients from overcompetition in my super low flow secondary sump on the macro tank. Beautiful deep pink/red color, soft fuzzy branches, grows 3-4" long:

Just wanted to share some pics of the good macros out there :) Exact identification is pending, but I'm currently leaning toward the orange one being a kind of Kallymenia and the red one a kind of Dasya.

Wow those are awesome! Love the orange one especially!! So I'm guessing they wouldn't let you buy it without buying the whole frag? That stinks. Do you think it might turn red?

Macros like that, I have found that successful keeping is greatly aided by having the macro attached by its natural holdfast. Once removed from the rock, it will not reattach on its own again. Its round shape makes it difficult to hold it in place without damaging the macro over time. And no, that LFS is picky, only once have I managed to convince them to sell me a piece of a hitchhiker algae from a coral without buying the whole coral. Macros can shift color depending on light and nutrient levels, but I believe that orange is this macro's natural color and it will not change.
