New wrasse!! pics

well i went to my LFS and finally got another african leopard wrasse!! it took me forever to get another one. my first one got scared by something and never came back outa the sand. only thing i added to the tank was some frogspawn and the rest was history after that.







these are the best pictures i could get before he dove into the sand bed..lol.. i will try to get some better pics later when he gets used to the tank.

Looks like a tiny little meleagris.
Hopefully he will eat.

I got mine @ a local LFS, and whenever someone comes over they're like "Wow Look at that spotted fish, it's the best" I really enjoy then, probably the favorite in my tank, tho my Flame Hawk might beat it. Mine hid in the sand for 2 days, but then he came out to eat. He eats Arcti Pods and Brine Shrimp as well as flake food sometimes.

yea, my last one did great until i put the frog spwan in my tank and then he never came back out of the sand.... hopefully this one does better. they are extremely hard to find around here. this is only the second one i have ever seen anywere.

when i added the frogspwan to my tank the wrasse dove into the substrate and from then on he never came back out. like the frogspwan spooked him into hiding. from my experience with this species it is very sensitive and gets spooked really easy.

I have had mine for 2 weeks and he eats everything we feed him. She even like Nori. And is always swimming out in the open. So far so good, I hope your does just as well! Congrats!
