New yellow leather

So i got a new yellow leather on sunday the first day he looked great but at night he "shrinks" so to speak and retracts its polyps.

This is my first"real coral" and im curious if how he looks is normal.

I have candy coral, green str polyps and another frag(not sure what it is) all doing great and striving.

My parameters are

Ca - 460
Hardness - 10.5 dKH
Phosphate - < 0.25ppm
Nitrates - <5ppm
Temp 78.2
Sp grav - 1.0245
Nitrite - 0ppm
Ammonia - 0ppm

I also added kent marine coral-vite on sunday.

Please see attached picture.

Thanks in advanced.

It is looking okay, if it has been closed it may be another day or two before it polyps out fully. Be sure it is getting lots of random flow and strong light. You should treat that specific leather more like a SPS coral than a typical softie.

Here is a pic of a healthy yellow from here http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2013/3/corals

YEs he is high up under my light with good water flow when wathcing him you can see him waving in the flow.

polyps are all out and he has been looking real good IMO the last few days. Early on probably just needed time to destress and get used to the new tank
