New zoa treatment

I am going to be getting around ten new frags of different zoas and I just wanted to see what everyone recommends as far as treating them before I put them into my tank. They will have been shipped over night, so if there are any recommendations for procedure, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

IMO the worst pest on zoanthids is the zoanthid eating nudibranch and different chemical dips are the usual procedure.
I've tried most of the different dips over the years, and some work better than others.
One dip I like now is using Flat Worm Exit at 4x the recommended dose for about 4-5 minutes.
However nothing will kill the eggs. Manual removal with tweezers is about the easiest.
Even with all the dips and inspection, there is always the chance you could miss something.
The best option is to use a quarantine tank, just as you would for fish.

+1 for Flatworm Exit

I have also seen zoa spiders die and fall off the rock after a 30 second submersion in Revive.

the peroxide probally isn't going to do much for most pests, so I'm going to stick to what I know works.

Why salinity shock if you don't have to? Plus with fw dips you are supposed to match the ph of your tank. Too much hassle if you ask me.

the freshwater dip was the standard for dipping zoanthids for many years and is still used by many.
I used it for years until I saw what FWE does.
I never really matched the ph exactly, but I did make a attempt to get it close, within a couple 10ths.
At the moment, I am out of FWE (used all of it yesterday) and if I get any new zoanthids in before I get more FWE, I will use the Mucho's freshwater dip formula with the knowlege that it will work.

OK stick with it then...

IME peroxide is the best dip for Zoa/Palys, not only does it take care of pests, it also destroys pest algae. Of course you'll never find that out since you'll never use it

What do the eggs look like?

I have used peroxide, but not for a general dip.
It was first used back in the 90's as a dip for fungus.

I used most of the dips people use now and I'll stick with what works for me.

You can see the egg mass on the right. Nudi on the left.
