Ok, so on Sunday i purchased a hammer, and a torch. the torch was placed on my lowest rock with very little current direct at it and the hammer was placed on the top between two rocks with a little more current direct at it. Sunday evening, I noticed both corals completely open and "lively" but this morning, the hammer's tentacle's on the outside rim where open but the middle looked "bald". is this due to placement and/or current? yes, i am aware that these tend to extend and attack others so they are not above or near another.
i have my lights as follows
6-8am i have a soft blue light
8am-5pm i have both whites and blues at 100%
5pm-8pm i have a soft blue light
8pm-6am i have the lights off.. i keep the white at 1% to create some type of lighting..
