I'm new to Indy and decided to upgrade to saltwater as a new hobby. I recently setup my new 40g cad lights tank with 12g sump, and it's all cycled. Currently have just a goby paired with pistol and some other invertebrates. Hopefully will be picking up a pair of mocha clowns from sport507 tomorrow.
I have the lighting and powerheads required to have some really nice corals, fish, and anemones in this tank, be it small. However, money aside, the whole hobby loses something to me when I'm simply purchasing these from either liveaquaria.com, the Reef, or Premium Aquatics. Don't get me wrong, I love premium aquatics, I just feel like part of this hobby should be trading, bartering, sharing, with other local saltwater enthusiasts.
With that said, if you're in the area, say hello to me. While I might not have frags to trade just yet, I have other random things of interest, and an enthusiasm to meet local members. I'm a structural engineer for Rolls-royce, so if you have technical structural questions, I may be of help.
In particular, I'm looking for anemones to pair with my clowns, corals, mushrooms, and other rock cover. I'm open to suggestions.
