NEW to Saltwater

I have a question I will be getting some ZOA cuttings and Am not sure how to get them to attach to my live rock. WILL they just float around?

OK after another search I SEE I will need to superglue them ? I guess this would not work on my live rock in the tank . I could take it out for a few minutes and try?
I will need to find some thing to glue them to ??
I have a NANO 28 gal with PC lighting that has been relocated to my house intact water and all.
Everything is stable.

I use a zip tie to hold them to the rock, or some fish line. They're notoriously hard to glue. After a week or so they take hold.

If the rock is too big, tie them to a piece of rubble, then glue that once they attach.

Not regular superglue but superglue gel, you have to remove them off water, dry the zoa base then glue. Zoas can be off water and cut, glue without any problem.

You can glue them on little rock, plastic piece...

+1 on the super gel...

Also, the key is patience... Watch a few videos on YouTube...
Notice how they will let the glue sit for a bit, before trying to attach the zoa's . Some ppl say wait up to 10 minutes, I wait about 2-4 minutes, depending on how my add is doing :)

Also where eye protection , and wash hands before and after.
There's a thread around rating the different glues...
Some work better than others, some will work better out of water, others will work better under water.

Once you do it a few times, you'll be able to make it work with any glue...

If you do go the route of super gluing them to the rock please remember to get super glue gel that has cyanoacrylate as the active ingredient.

OK I will watch You tube and try to glue them to some small pieces of shell in my tanks.

I will look for some shells somewhere to get and break up for frag bases. I asked at the LFS if they had any small bases Like coral fraggers use No luck said he did not know where to get them..

I appreciate the Ideas and will let you know how it goes!

Wrong LFS . :)

Online from most of the sponsors here, Bulk Reef Supply on a group buy is a decent choice. Or make your own. Or stop at Home Depot/Lowes and pick up a sheet of travertine tile mosaics in 1" squares, 144 frag bases for about $10 or less.

From Plant City you want to hook up with the Tampa Bay Reef Club. Also, Nolan's in Lakeland should have frag plugs available, they do their own fragging. It's been a year or more since I was up there though.
