first of all i apoligize for the newbie questions..... i am new to the hobby as of about 2 months...i have a 25 gallon setup and i was wonderin if anyone has any diagrams of how to setup a wet/dry system and sump and whatevere is needed... i dont knwo how but i reaslly want to read up on all this so when i upgrade its easy and i know what im doin any info would be great thanx...

I'd suggest posting where you live and seeing who lives by. If there is someone close by go and check out their setup. It's easier to see first hand.

Can you tell us more about your objectives? What are you going to keep in the tank? Just fish? (FO) Fish with Live Rock (FOWLR)? Or a full-blown reef?

What do you have in the tank now?

well i have a 25 gallon now with aLR and a snowfalke eel and a cleaner shrimp and hopefully buyin some fish on friday...and yes hopefully at the ned of the summer i want to buy a 50 to 75 gallon tank ...and yes i am goin for a reef setup with corals and what not alos...

Well a wet/dry is not the optimal set up for a reef tank, the bio balls harbor detritus, and allow nitrates to build up in your system. You should look into a protein skimmer instead....

PS. the snowflake eel will probably eat the fish also.

he small right now about 7-8'' and the shrimp is cool with him and i dont mind if he does eat him he was like 8 bucks... now my other question was i saw a nice tank for sale a corner tank. it is a 36 gallon i was wonderin what would be the best and cheapest skimmer and sump pump ...and where could i get those or is anyone sellin theres..?

Well, I am actually. I have an old trickle filter, about the size of a 10 gallon tank, I converted to a sump, with an overflow box--and a AquaC Urchin in sump model protein skimmer. This was used to run my 55 gallon reef, that I retired when I put up my 180. This link show the sump:

and this has the skimmer:

And a Mag 7 return pump:

This system is basically plug and play. I'm looking to get 250 for it all. Let me know if your interested.
