New to coral, just wondering what type of mushroom this is, so I can do some research on how to best take care for it, make it grow, location in tank for best results, etc.
Picture quality is poor but it looks to be a Caribbean red rhodactis mushroom. Most shrooms are easy to care for, just give it low to moderate flow. Place it in the bottom of the tank to acclimate to your lights for a week, and move it up to where you want slowly. Or if you like to leave it in the bottom, no movement up necessary. If you use MH lights I would leave it on the bottom but it all depends on how deep your aquarium is. I wouldn't worry about supplementing its diet if you keep fish in your tank.
