Hello everyone. I am brand new to this club and hobby. Looking for all advice and help I can get. I am gonna post pics of my new 125 tank that i am putting up tomorrow.
First thing I am looking for is frags. If anyone wants to donate a few to me please let me know. I am trying to get my reef started ASAP.

if you're going to put it up tomorrow, might want to wait awhile before adding some frags in.

There's a frag swap in August that you can participate in if you join BAR. There's a buy in fee if you don't have anything to start off with, but it's a tiny price to pay.

It's a great way to get started! Also check out the bareefers.org page, it has tons of for sale / don't break the chain frags.

Minor correction this frag swap is ONLY for those who were members by the end of the June meeting. If you weren't then you're SOL. Also rules haven't been placed up yet, so no word of buy in, even if you were eligible.

Kinetic is right,

You'll need to wait before adding frags. ESPECIALLY SPS! Please don't get anything before your tank is ready. That said, once your tank has cycled for a while I'll be glad to help you out with the beginner pieces: zoos, shrooms and of course xenia. But, I say again, make sure your tank is ready; this includes chemistry, temp and lighting. I don't want to send anything to a death camp.

You have to have registered/paid members due by june 9th to take part in the frag swap.
