Not here yet but I managed to pick one of these up (been trying for a long time). LMK what you think.

Looks great in the picture. Good luck with it. I'll be interested to see how it holds it's color.

Me too. I know people in California who have maintained pretty good color on theirs so I'm hopeful...

Hope you're getting settled in Chris.

We are as much as we can be at this point, thanks for asking:)

The corallites are not quite as vivid pink as the picture shows but nice none the less. I suspect once it recovers from shipping that will improve.

Nice pick up Dave. I am sure it will do well in your tank. The colors have held up pretty well from what I have read. With your lighting, it should be fine. Good luck. You should get the Jose Casas Candlelight concert acro next- if you don't already have it.

Got other corals from Jose but not that one. I actually prefer the wild ones and coloring them up. You should see the pink divaracata I picked up a few weeks ago, incredible! My Atlantis cytherea is finally shooting a branch off after over a year of encrusting and it looks like it is going to be quite special as well. I've had several opportunities to p/u the candlelight, even before the WWC hype, but passed. Maybe someday in a trade...

Jose actually offered it to me at about the same time he sold/traded to WWC. Believe me, I don't have as many connections as you'd think, so don't be envious. It's just a matter of knowing what you want, asking a lot of hobbyists/vendors, and having enough patience to not overpay. That and you have to put a lot of trust in people and accept occasional losses. If I ever come to the show me state, we'll have to arrange a trade:)

You are always welcome in the show me state. A trade wth me may take time seeing as though I lost everything and am rebuilding. I am working on restocking and found a few corals (sps) that I have not seen before. I am learning the patience part of the hobby. We all know that is not my strong suit. And I still envy connections with jose at least. Now I have a setup that is better suited (dedicated qt and frag tank if needed, better equipment, fuge, etc) for success than before. I will always be in touch with my TN people. Even joel, dana and unfortunately Mel. :) really nice pickup with the strawberry shortcake.

Hey Paul

We missed you at the swap last Saturday. Hope the rebuild goes good. I spent more money than I should have again. At least this time I had a tank to put the corals in. :celeb3:
