Next Fish To Add?

I have a 29 gal. DT reef. There is a false perc and a LMB in there currently. I have a yellow clown goby in my QT. I plan on adding a royal gramma and a 6 line as the last two fishies. My question is do I have room to get another fish before the RG and 6 line? If so, what do you all recommend?
Thanks, Steve

I think you're going to be pushing the limits with the last two. Do you have a sump or refugium? Total volume is the key here. If it's a 29 tank with X number of lbs of live rock, your total capacity is too low for more than three or four fish, in my opinion.

No sump or fuge. 45 lbs of LR. I appreciate your input but I do not agree :) Anyone else?

i dont think its too many fish for a 29. clown goby doesnt take up much room, RG likes to hover in a couple places at midlevel and hide in rockwork, sixline goes in and out of rockwork, dont know about blennies. i think youll be ok but thats all the fish you could add, imo. ask other people aroudn about sixlines because most people say they can be aggressive at times

i have 3 fish in my 28.. two tomato clowns and 1 RG and to me that feels like thats enough. i added a yellow coris but everything is going to the 75 in a few days once the sand settles down

keep up with the water changes though and dont slack off

i have myself a 33 gallon and my stocking list in in my sig. Keep it simple. You also have to include your Clean up crew into that list. Fish are not the only polluters in your tank. I personally think your pushing the limits with your tank and even more so than I will.

Heres a good idea, go and see how big each fish CAN get. Im sure the blennies and gobies can get quite large. Just imagine you adding the full size versions of your current stocking list and then see if your happy. Go to your LFS and see the size they can get too. Sometimes it quite daunting and is a real reality check.

:D

lawnmower blenny, yellow gumdrop goby, royal gramma, 6 line.....

for a 29g tank, I would only choose 2 out of these 4 max, and seems like you already have 2..

i personally think the 6 line will tear your goby apart, if not any of the other fish..

but I'd say apart from 2 out of those 4 listed and your clown, you can get a dwarf angel and you'd be set, maybe a flameback or coral beauty?

metweezer,
I agree with EllieSuz on this one. This may not be what you want to hear but it is good advice.
Even if you had a larger water volume I would avoid it as the physical space of a 29 would lead to social problems in the long run.
