Nick's 117 Gallon Reef

They both look really nice. I think I actually like the old tank a little better though. Maybe it's because I can't see the scratches in the pics though. Nice tank.

Awesome looking tank. I'm planning on doing the island approach with the rock when I upgrade in a few months.

Yeah, I'm definately a big fan of the Island look. I can't wait to see your tank setup.

Yeah, I really miss my 180. The extra 6inch depth really helps a lot with aquascaping. As far as the scratches, they are more hairline and you only really see them when coralline gets in between the grooves.

I dont see any powerheads or plumbing on your 180. how did you accomplish this? did you make a rock wall sort of overflow on the right side?

Oh, the plumbing is on the right corder on that image. I just cropped the image, so that 2x6100 doesn't show.

Your aquascaping is perfect! Your Angelfish is beautiful.

Thanks, been wanting to keep a multi-bar for a while now, finally was able to find one that eats everything. The next one I'm adding is a Paracentropyge Venusta.

I was messing around with a used Coral Vue 20k Bulb this morning. To my surprised, I could not tell the diff. between the Radium 20k and CV 20k.

Here is an image, CV 20k to the left and Radium 20k on the right.

an updated FTS. I've been slacking installing the black vinyl back, hopefully on the next update, I will have that on. However, I did attempt to hide the big Washing Machine size Tunzes behind the rockwork. Enoy.

How about an updated Full Tank Shot? Excuse the messy sandbed. The zoas and palys will soon be transfered to a 30gal. The sps on the bottom are pieces i'm holding for a friend.

Beautiful rock work. Simply amazing.

Can you please post some shots of your overflow box and if I am not wrong dorso system. for silence the voice.

Here is my 4 month update. I've been busy with school and work and I have neglected my tank. As you can see the squammy and the angels are gone :( RIP. Something funky killed both angels (Possibly internal parasites). The clam, I don't have a clue what happened. Oh well. Here are the pics, enjoy.
