provides calm waters for the fish to rest/sleep, as well as for the coral .... also allows me to feed my favia a little easier .. i just wave a stick of cyclopese infront of the return & it will get to the brain ...
I don't. The fish just lodge themselves in the rocks and sleep the night away peacefully. Most of their movement while resting is actually from the wavebox anyway.
My wavebox shuts off in the evening and my streams takes over the circulation. It calms the water down and the inhabitants rest peacefully. Best of both worlds. Love Tunze products.
