Nitrate

[Red Sea reefer]

Hello every one , I have question there is so stuff in the market like Red Sea nitrate remover and some other stuff use to remove nitrate, my question ( is it ok to use this stuff to remove nitrate or I should do the water change ???
I was away from my tank for a month so my nitrate level at 20 ppm now cause I didn't do the water change for a month so I am wondering if it's ok to use this stuff , rather than do a big water change cause it's easier for my to do it ,

Water change is the best option get it out of the system don't use chemicals unless you really have to and doing so is just a band aid the root of the issue as you have identified is lack of water changes so change some water it will soon get things in check and much better for your system

Nitrate of 20 ppm is not bad at all. Do a 20% wc and get some chaeto for your sump.
