Nitrates during cycle

hey guys,

I have been out of saltwater aquariums for about 10 years and have just gotten back in. I have decided to set up a sort of permanent QT. I have live rock in there and has been cycling for 3 weeks.I have 0 Ammonia and 0 Nitrite but Nitrate is 100. I cycled using ammonia. Is there bacteria that will eventually get rid of the nitrate? Should I do a water change and call it cycled?

Thanks

There is no magic in a bottle here..
In general you should be doing water changes to get those nitrates way down now..
The "last part" of the nitrogen cycle is tough...

People use all sorts of techniques to reduce/manage/export nitrates from a tank.. water changes, carbon dosing (biopellets/vinegar/vodka/nopox/sulfur), macroalgae (chaeto/turf scrubbers), skimmers, etc...

It sounds like your tank is cycled though.. Now you just need to tackle the aftermath..
