Too thin... no gas exchange.. its fish torture. =)

AAAACCCTTTUUUALLLYYY....

The 4 foot 20 gallon has the same surface area as a 20H.
The 30 gallon has almost double the surface area of a 29 gallon aquarium.

So, they actually are more than adequate when it comes to gas exchange.

Looking at them, I dont see how that would be the case.. but I didnt do the math either. I guess thats what I get =)

Also plumb that baby to the basement into a 150 gal rubbermade and you got a great setup!
