i was wondering if someone could tell me why my skimmer is not making the skimmate like it used to .its a red sea berlin,ive tried adjusting it like before but nothing seems to work.the only thing that i have changed is the food.i quit feeding the frozen foods and nowbuy fresh clams and shrimp.also stopped with the marine snow and cyclopeez has been three weeks since i switched and about that long since my skimmer made any skimmate although i still get the build up in the chamber and tube. i switched to the fresh foods to get away from the phosphates,and the phosphate level has droped but the nitrates are coming up what gives. thank you for your help. i am going snowmobileing for the first time this year be back in a couple hours thanx again
