Nocturnal

pledosophy, My reef tank consists of mainly SPS and several LPS. I also have one large devils hand. the frag tank is all LPS and the colt. So unfortunately I wouldn't be able to go with a temp. that low. I may consider the fan idea at some point.

Thanks for your information! :)

Micki, how are they doing?? Just wanted to check in.
Thanks for asking!!! AWESOME! Most of the time I can't find them because they blend in quite well. :) All I have to do is add the food and poof here they come! :D I do need to look into getting some more tall things for them to latch on to. I have one piece of tonga and they use that from time to time. Tonight they are both wrapped aroudn the colt corl. I would really like more things in there. I have a fair amount of LR but only the one tall piece. What do you have if anything that is live and tall. :)

I change the tank around a ton for some reason..I had a lot of great tonga in there, that they loved. Too many really big bristle worms, which worried me (in other tanks I don't care). I've had a lot of corals, and they find posts on those. I also have this extremely neat mushroom thing going, it is almost like a rope-type skeleton it seems, about 8 inches across, with blue shrooms growing on it. It is a great hitch for them. I have no idea what the rope looking thing is.

Now I'm doing much more of a planted tank, and they seem to love it as the grasses spread more and more.

Will you be at the Ohio Swap in March?

I noticed earlier today that I seem to have a large bristle worm... Are the big ones known to attack the horses? I know what rock it's in and I may pull the rock for a bit to get it out. Do mushrooms bother the horses?

Your tank sounds cool! Got any pics?

Is the swap you are talking aobut in Cleveland? If so probably not. :(

I'll post old ones in the sh tank picture thread. I'll try tomorrow to get new ones because the tank is all different now. The vids on my site show many various stages of tanks they've been in and re-arrangements.

Yeah, it is in Cleveland..too bad you can't come, would be nice to meet!

We just posted at same time..they look great, and the tank looks nice for them. How big are they? Still small? Nevermind, just saw it's a 70gal sump, so they seem a good size already.

This used to be my sump. It's a 40 gallon breeder tank. I have a new sump that is 100 gallons.

Micki, the swap is March 19th. Here is the info if you want to take a look. I hope you consider it!! Also, I posted a couple old tank pics in the sh tank thread. Many changes have happened and still forthcoming.
