So "SPS" is pretty broad. What I am looking for, but can't find, is a guide of sorts to the different SPS. What's the difference between a milli and an acro? A digi and a stylo? No really those questions, but just something other than "high light/high flow". Care levels, hardiness, the hundred of other variables. Maybe broken down by type: branching, encrusting, plating etc. So for branching you'd have monti digi on the easy side, going to bird'snest to X to Y to acro for example. Hope I've articulated my thoughts, if not well.

No, not really. I'm not sure we know enough to state definitives for each SPS type. Acros seem to be most sensitive to Alk swings BUT not always, some say only alk swings that rise above 9, others say as long as all other parameters are good Alk swings don't seem to matter.
The only thing I can say, as far as species go, is that I've never harmed a pocillopora, therefor I think it's the most tolerant SPS I own.

the only tip I have learned is gfo is the devil for sps. To mutch to fast , To soon , Ect .. Ect.. my new model plan for my evolving sps tank has no artificial export mode ..Gfo , Bio pellets , vinegar , Ect ..For me now its all natural , minus my good ole skimmer , Fuge , dsd ,rock .. most all natural methods , and of course good husbandry ..also a dosser and awc..lol
