Nopox ??? On my biocube

I am struggling a little bit with my Nitrates. I have read about the Red Sea nopox.......any advice would be appreciated. I'm a newbie and still learning. Here is my tank info:
I have a 32 gal Biocube, Steve's LEDs, intank media basket with filter floss, Purigen and chemipure elite, Tunze skimmer. My parameters are:
Cal 470
KH 10.9
MG 1300
PH 8.2
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 30
Salinity 1.024
I do 5 gal a week water changes, I use RODI water and Fritz salt. Everything seems to be doing great. Tank is 3 months old and I dose Ion seed bacteria with each water change. Here is contents of the tank:

If you don't have an algae problem, nitrates aren't that big of a deal.

If you want to reduce them, then it is fine to dose small amounts of nopox or vodka (carbon dosing), but make sure you're running your skimmer during and after dosing for a while, to skim out the bacteria. You may also need to change out your filter pads more often.

How often are you cleaning that sponge where the water comes into chamber 3? From what I've heard, they can be a huge nitrate factory. Mine comes out every other week as the first step of my maintenance. It then gets a full tap water rinse (I've had everything from bristle worms to sponge growing in it) and then I wring it dry inside a paper towel to get all the water I can out of it. Then I let it sit and replace it as the last step.
I've also heard of some people that buy an extra, and clean and swap them weekly to make sure everything is both out of them and totally dry.
But like the above poster, I don't think 30 is super bad, unless you are getting algae issues.

I totally removed that sponge. It hasn't been in since new.

Are you stirring sand or letting it be? I stir mine almost every other day....

I haven't been messing with it, but today when I did my water change I vacuumed some of it.
