So I have not been before but I did receive the email about this. I don't have nay frags to trade or sale as for I just completed a 180 in wall build after 7 months.

I am ready for corals now however so are they also for sale?

Hello reelredfish,
The majority of hobbyists that attend many frag swaps, including ours, purchase corals from others that have set up tables or booths with their corals.
The vendors bring a wide variety of corals for purchasing, everything from beginner to more difficult corals for the advanced hobbyists. The good thing about the frag swaps is that it allows many hobbyists to see the corals in person rather than just the photos online. It also gives hobbyists a chance to make purchases without having to deal with shipping. There are some vendors that also bring equipment, inverts and fish also.
We also have local hobbyists and hobbyists from out of town that set up at the events and sell corals from their own tanks too.
These days not much trading takes place but some people still do. So the main thing of concern is just bringing cash to purchase, even though many of the vendors take credit as well at the events.
I hope I answered your question. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to ask. You can also send me a pm as well.

The North Texas Reef Fanatics September Frag Swap is almost here! Our vendors and hobbyists are beginning set up today and doors open tomorrow morning.
We've also had another vendor added to our list that will be in attendance:
ARC Aquatics

We hope that you can join us for tomorrows event.

Just wanted to say my 9 year old son and I had a great time at the frag swap.

He picked out about 14 nice pieces. He is already asking me when the next one is.

Redfish I'm glad you and your son had a great time at the event. It's always good to be able to share a hobby like this one with family.
We will definitely have another event coming up again and hope you will be able to make it out again.
Thanks for making it to this event!

We had a blast as a Vendor for this show! Thanks to all the staff for putting everything together and making setup/breakdown so seamless! And thanks to all the hobbyists who showed up! One of my favorite things is getting to add to my own collection from other members tanks.
