Not Green Star Polyps, then what?

I recently got this frag, the owner of the original colony gave them to me as Green Star Polyps, but I've kept GSP in the past and these don't look like it at all. Never mind the white polyp, it's mainly the minuscule size of the polyps, between 1 to 2 mm. I've been searching in the books that I've got and can't find something that would be satisfactory, so all help is appreciated. Thanks!

looks like GSP to me...i have seen several different varieties of it...long polyps, short like your polyps, green, white, brown...etc...

Those are just bleached shrunken GSP for sure. I've had small frags go missing in my tanks for weeks only to finally find them behind a rock looking exactly like what you've got. I'd say just leave it alone and let it recover, in a few weeks to a few months if your tank is healthy it should start getting more color and expanding like normal. Best of luck.
