Not sure what this is on my GSM Clown (pics included)

I'm not sure what it is... looks like

it looks like a protrusion that broke the skin, it's brownish in color.

the clown doesn't seem to be bothered by it.. Is this any cause for concern?

Well, any body wound is a potential cause for concern. I can't tell from the photos how bad it is. Does it look like there's something in it?

For the moment I suggest no action (except setting up a treatment tank if you have not already). If it seems to get worse, or fails to improve, try an antibiotic such as nitrofurazone or a double-dose of Maracyn-Two. Don't treat your display tank with antibiotics!

BTW, is that a Condy that's hosting your maroon?

There is is something in the wound, it looks like a raised brown bump. for now the clow shows no signs of distress

and is that is a condi... my two GSM's love hosting in it... I bought it on a whim at the LFS for $10
