not sure what to replace on my RODI unit

Well Bruce, I’m not convinced that your algae problem is from you RO/DI unit. You left out some important stuff, like age of your tank, parameters of your tank and water change habits, to mention a few. However, I will state that an RO/DI unit should be putting out 0 (zero) TDS (also not sure what 0.02 is all about). What is your incoming TDS, and when was the last time you changed out the DI resin. I would guess that new DI resin would get your TDS to zero.

I agree .02 TDS will not cause the alage problems. my guess is there is something else going on in the tank. over feeding, not enough skimming, to much bio load, ect.

I have a 60 gallon: CA: 420, ALK 8.3, MG 1350, Nitrate: undetectable, phosphate: undetectable, temp 77-80, doubt I am over feeding...I feed 1/6 of a mysis cube a day...also doubt not enough skimming Octopus extreme 160
Maybe too much bio load: yellow tang, midas blenny, lawnmower, pair of ora clowns, dottyback, mandarin dragonette (yellow tang is maybe 3-3.5 inches, the rest are tiny)
Due to a huge loss in color (but my corals are still growing) I have also changed my lighting, I had an Icecap 660 80wx4 T5 overdriven which I was told was too much lighting (mostly because it was only 4 inches above the water) so I replaced it with a regular 54wx4 T5
