ok... new thread... for the 20th in columbia...
i spoke to Zef earlier... seems we are official... im under the impression Lidnsey will be coming to this one and will be coordinating the meeting criteria... so... hopefully we can get the dirt here in this thread...

i spoken with a few of those who have said they were coming... but if ya dont mind... please post again here in this thread.. so i can get a good count...

im not sure if im going to be able to make this one or not... but i'll mark myself as possible

chime in if youre coming... and ill assign you your task for the day... ie.. clean the glass... scrub the sump etc... but i gotta be fair... the first ones in get the choice tasks... so dont cry to me if ya wait till the last minute and get stuck with something crappy like stowing the test kits in alphabetical order... you had you chance to get in early!!!!

oh yeah... "there will be punch and pie"... and if you get that... we're probably going to get along just fine ;)

I'd like to come---I have to pick up a goat that day as well- so what time is the party supposed to start???
This also gives me a sorta of yes but not a definite so I can miss the next joyful task. If I clean, should I bring copper?
 
yea since i get the lovely task of cleaning the huge @zz skimmer i guess ill clean it with copper i have here lol.......is it cool the wife and kids come along andd i forgot to ask ya over the phone mel but ya said ya have an xbox 360?.....i got a good few games for it and can bring them with us....also how many controlers do ya have for it? and i got raged on for my team being beaten by the stupid browns and ill grant ya guys that on even though our running backs are out but the stealers fell to us so HA :D and on the the night of the meeting my other team lsu plays ole miss or should i say breats them :D HA

as of today, I plan to attend this meeting. on the agenda will be a brainstorm of what we need for the swap. I hope to have a room layout by the time of the meeting so we can talk about layout of the tables and other items of need for the swap.

Please put a time in for the meeting to start. I would suggest 4pm or so.

Also, Since the meeting on the 14th is going to be doing the Fish Mush, do we also want to do this? According to Bill, the cost of buying the foods is around $200, so the attendees will need to offset this cost. something to the effect that if we have 20 attendees, we all pay $10 a piece and get a pretty good sized bag of it. However, I didnt get to participate in that, so I must Defer to Bill or someone else who knows more about it and let you guys make those arrangements.
 
ive been using copper for years to clean the skimmer... ITS AWESOME... my coral have never been whiter... plus... not a trace of ich in the system.. its a trick most nation-wide fish retailers have been using for years!!!!

but dont worry.. ive got plenty here we can use ;)

as far as the fish mush thing goes... i think the point of doing that is to show us all how to make it... so it really wouldnt be that effective to pass it out... i dont know how to make it... but im really looking forward to doing it... so i can make it again in the future... so... no biggie... there are a few of us who are getting the ingredients to make some... if ya wanna donate a little to the cause... its cool... but if you're broke... i dont think any of us are going to let them go home empty handed... :)

meeting time... man there is alot to this... ummmm... i tell ya what... if it were up to me.. i would sit around and BS with everyone all day... its a cool thing to visit and share ideas and kick back and have some coffee.... sooooo... we'll just plan for that... the doors will be unlocked and open for everyone at 12:00 noon... c'mon in and chill... the fish mush will kick off at 2:00PM... if ya wanna learn how to make it... be there at 2... the "official business meeting" will begin @ 4:00PM...

at the conclusion of the meeting... im happy to announce... there will be a drawing for prizes... YAY! i know how you all like your door prizes... ive spoken to a few LFS's and they have agreed to donate raffel items...

the doors will be open till the last person leaves....

so.. there ya have it... a day filled with goodies! so bring the kids... bring the goats... but please... leave the copper at home ;)

lol awesome with the raffle deal, our daughter was bumbed that she didnt pull my name out in the last metting lol and honestly me too lol cya at 6 am mel :D lol nah not that early lol

Haha! Been out meeting friends every year... dunno if I want to break that tradition. But it would be nice for your wife to sing happy bday, but ill hide cause im shy...lol
