NPS and Phosphate

Hello,
I'm in the process of setting up my NPS tank, its currently cycling :thumbsup:
I noticed there is this trend of not using GFO or other phosphate-removing products when keeping azoox coral. Why is this?

I use 1 liter of GFO on a 300g system. Most of the PO4 is removed by vinegar/ethanol dosing (35/15mL daily), wet skimming, and 20% weekly water changes. I also regenerate the GFO biweekly. My PO4 hovers around 0.20 ppm which is acceptable to me. If I don't do the above it'd be above 2.0 ppm in short order.
