Anyone know exactly what this is?

no idea where he comes from and is 4cm. Found him in the middle of the day on the glass.

I'm on dial-up today, so my search time is limited, but I'm pretty sure it's a Dendrodoris species, maybe a variation of Dendrodoris fumata or D. nigra. I'll look to see if I can find one with the band around the margin, but in the meantime, you might check the Dendrodris species on http://www.seaslugforum.net/specieslist.htm
