Look what I found!

I never would have seen it, if it didn't look bright orange in my actinics. I hate to kill any living being but...

Now that I know what they look like, I was poking around in my other tank & found another one. I picked it up w/tweezers & it broke in half & 1/2 of it blew away in the current. Do they regenerate? Will that 1/2 live?

What's the best way to get them out? (other than buying a seagrass wrasse)

In the past I have picked them off and they went away. I just got a couple of bad colonies that have nudis and egg sacks I may be in trouble.

You can see the egg sack at the bottom

My problem is, I have >2 years growth of zoas on huge pieces of rock. Pretty hard to remove 100's of lbs of rock & dip each piece. The good news is, I'm upgrading in a month & will try to dip each piece, before it goes into the new tank.

I can never find Lugol's. I may do just a fresh water with some Reef Plus or something.

As long as you are going to keep zoanthids it would be worth it to find some Lugols.
The reef plus or something will do nothing.

There are a few other wrasses that will eat the nudibranchs.
I had good luck with a green coris wrasse.

I solved my problem with a Mystery Wrasse. It will completely destroy the nudi's in three to four weeks. Best of all you will not have to disturb any of the corals to dip.
