sorry to hijack your thread but I found one of these yesterday that looked almost EXACTLY like these only it was tanish brown not red. is this still a beneficial kind??
Probably not. The tannish brown ones that are shaped like that without the external gill are usually arminid nudibranchs and feed on soft corals. These little red ones are tiny. The arminids are usually larger.
