nuke greens placement??

i have them on my frag rack near middle of tank more toward bottom but they arent opening up all the way and there looking like there shriveling up a lil too

plz help

That's where I have mine too.
New frag? Sometimes they take time opening all the way when they just been fragged.

as a guess 20-25" to start then slowly move closer over time if you want

I have mine half way up the tank on live rock, under a 250 14K phoenix light. they grow like weeds I have a crap ton of the nuke greens.

Mine are 16 inches or so under a 175W MH and in medium to high flow, and they grow FAST.

They like medium-medium/strong flow, they should stay open but shake slightly.

best bet is to take a healthy paly and place it where you plan to place the new nuclear green just to double check that that spot doesn't have too little or too much flow then place the nuclear green there a day later after you know that is a good spot for your new addition

even better is to do a switcher roo with another paly spot that you know is doing good at least until the nuclear green fully open's for a few days before moving him around again.
