Nuking my corals again

Hi everyone, It's been awhile since I've signed on. I just wanted to post a warning about your MH lights. My coral started to suffer on one side of the tank and I found an other bulb that cracked but was still lighting up. This exposes the coral to radiation and they don't like it much. This has happened twice to me. Both times using XM bulbs, I just ordered the german bulbs. So watch you bulbs . pwfirst:eek1:

Have you thought about a hooded MH unit? You lose some lumens due to the glass, but its a whole lots safer. YOu can find aircooled enclosed units for under 100 bucks if you find a good deal.
